Like him or not, President Trump has showed us God-fearing, Netflix streaming Americans that anyone can be President. All it takes is cash stacks, millions of Twitter followers, and a gift of gab.
Rappers have that in spades and if a rock-rap hack like Kid Rock can actually have a chance at winning a U.S. Senate seat in Michigan , imagine what real rappers could do to really Make America Great Again ?
5 Rappers We Need to Make America Great Again
Miami-Dade County Mayor Luther Campbell
To say that Florida is the armpit of America is wrong, because deodorant can solve most of your underarm ills. It would take a power not of this world to clean up Florida. Why not Luke Skyywalker? Not the Jedi, but the 2 Live Crew frontman of the same name (well, with the extra "y"). Luke aka Luther Campbell was born and raised in Miami and is the godfather of Southern rap. Sure, he's got a lot of baggage, but he's also done a lot of good with inner city youth programs, took a case to the Supreme Court, and fought for free speech. Campbell already ran and lost a bid for mayor of Miami-Dade County on a platform that included making housing projects safer, transparency in local government, and taxing strippers, but now is the time to try again.

Los Angeles Mayor Ice Cube
If Eazy-E was the heart and Dr. Dre the soul of iconic group NWA, Ice Cube was the brain behind social justice anthems like “F*ck Tha Police” and “Straight Outta Compton” that still ring true today. The movie actor/producer has proved with the recent Big 3 basketball league that he can not only envision big ideas, but also execute them.

U.S. Senator (Illinois) Chance the Rapper
The Chicago rapper was recently praised by Michelle Obama for his charitable contributions to his hometown schools. The outspoken, forward-thinking hip hop star (real name Chancelor Bennet) has criticized government and politicians in the past, including Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel. Chance’s father has worked for Emanuel at City Hall so he knows how the system works. Here's betting that he could do the same for government what he did for the music business when he broke new ground, becoming the first streaming artist to win a Grammy.

U.S. President JAY-Z
If the Rock is going to run for President why not the ROC Nation founder? He's a business, man much like the Donald, is BFF's with Barack Obama and would have the finest First Lady of all-time in the equally popular Beyonce. It makes too much sense and President JAY-Z just rolls of the tongue.

U.S. Congressman (Georgia) Killer Mike
Of all the rappers on this list, Killer Mike makes the most sense. The co-conspirator of Run the Jewels made his huge presence felt after coming out as a staunch Bernie Sanders supporter in the 2016 election. Killer Mike real name Mike Render has gone on to become a leading voice on social injustice issues and a regular on political talkshows such as Real Time with Bill Maher. We need people like Killer Mike who give "real talk" about subjects like racism, activism, etc in a language young people can understand.
