It can be very exciting to head out to the ballpark to see your favorite team play right in front of you. What’s not exciting? The absurd prices of the food and drinks there — but hey, you got to eat. And that’s probably what the guy in this video thought to himself when he spent his hard-earned cash on a batch of fresh nachos at the St. Louis Cardinals versus the Chicago Cubs game last night.
But something terrible happened: Cubs shortstop, Addison Russell ends up in the stands when he attempts to catch a foul ball. And well, this happened.
Always keep two hands on the nachos – it’s just fundamentals! pic.twitter.com/Fjnqd4CJNj

Ouch. That miserable fan with no nachos? Andrew Gudermuth.

But not to worry because things ended well for Gudermuth after all. Russell actually returned with some nachos and even posed for a selfie.
@cardinals thanks for the loaded nachos @cubs thanks for the plain nachos. Thank you cubs and cards. Unforgettable. #nachoman pic.twitter.com/OGvnyfRN7t

Well, Guldermuth bought loaded nachos, but got plain ones from Russell. Well, it took the Cubs over 100 years to win a World Series so you can’t expect them to get things right the first time around.
