We’ve fallen a looong way from Grace, but for once, that’s actually a good thing. If you don’t get the reference, allow us to refresh your memory (and make what you are about to see look even better by comparison):
OK, now that you’re not the least bit threatened by Topher Grace’s take on Eddie Brock in 2007’s Spider-Man 3, it’s time to reveal the real reason we’re here. If you’ll recall, the first teaser to Sony’s Venom solo film left something to be desired. Mainly, a look at what Venom (played by the much better suited Tom Hardy) looks like when he’s all symbioted out. Thanks to a leak from a full-on Venom trailer to be released at this evening’s CinemaCon, we know that the character will indeed kick ass and take names (possibly heads):
Well holy shit, Venom looks like Venom. pic.twitter.com/rQh5bgmMn4

Who says sequels (or in this case, pseudo-sequels) that come out 10+ years later always suck? This is clearly the best Venom we are going to get until Marvel officially has the rights again, so take it all in and remember where you were. And if you happen to be sitting on your lump eating cheetos, then just lie. Who’d know the difference?
Venom is set to hit theaters on October 5th? We’d ask you if you’re ready, but we try not to get in the habit of stupid questions.
