Monday Morning Jolt is celebrating the class of 2018 for the National Library of Congress. The NLC chooses 25 works of music each year to endow, based on their cultural and historical significance.
This year, one Shawn Carter made it in with his 2001 album The Blueprint. The only necessary qualification for being considered is that an album (or song) must be at least 10 years old.
