RIP Norm Macdonald: The Best GIFs to Celebrate the Comedian’s Life and Laughter

Shocking news today for all comedy fans out there as we learned about the death of Norm Macdonald. The comedian died at the age of 61 after a nine-year battle with cancer that Norm kept private from the public. One of Norm’s most popular quotes was that “a joke should catch someone by surprise” and sadly this surprising news was no joke.

Anyone who grew up in the ’90s knew that staying up late to catch Norm Macdonald appearing on a late-night talk show was guaranteed to bring some hysterical moments. From the moth joke to the Courtney Thorne-Smith encounter on an episode of Conan O’Brien which turned into a roast of Carrot Top, Norm was always someone that you could depend on to bring some laughs.

Of course most famous for Saturday Night Live and being one of the original “Weekend Update” hosts his moments on SNL stand out above many others.
