The Australian has now responded to critics, saying that her moves are “original” and don’t always win over judges.

Raygun spoke to ESPN about the judge’s response to her performance at the Paris 2024 breakdancing tournament.
“All of my moves are original,” the Australian said. “Creativity is really important to me. I go out there, and I show my artistry. Sometimes it speaks to the judges, and sometimes it doesn’t. I do my thing, and it represents art. That is what it is about.”
Prior to her now-viral Olympics performance, the 36-year-old told CNBC that she hoped her originality would be valued in the competition.
“My specialty is style and creativity, not dynamics or power moves like many other dancers,” she said. “I don’t know if it’s going to be valued as much as some of the other criteria, but I hope people are still wowed by what I bring since it’s something different.”
