A new round of Donald Trump digital trading cards is available to collect, and they’re as cringey as the last three sets. The American First Edition consists of 15 Trump cards that feature timeless artwork like the presidential candidate in a knockoff Ironman suit holding a shield emblazoned with the Bitcoin logo (which is surprisingly a step up from the art on previous series). However, the fun doesn’t stop with NFTs. There are plenty of physical rewards available for those who go all out.
You can have dinner with Trump if you buy enough NFT cards
The Trump digital trading cards are $99 each, and purchasing enough of them gets you some physical perks:
- Buying 5 cards ($495) gets you a pair of “Never Surrender” gold Trump sneakers, the second-ugliest pair of shoes we’ve ever seen.
- Buy 9 cards ($891), and you’ll get two pairs (what a savings).
- Purchase 15 cards ($1,485), and you’ll get a physical card with a scrap of Trump’s suit from the June 27 debate attached, a pair of Platinum High Top Sneakers—the ugliest pair of shoes we’ve ever seen—two pairs of the terrible gold sneakers, a single unique card, and 35 extra NFT cards (what a deal).
The real treats here, though, are the two top-level packages:
If you buy 75 cards ($7,425), you get a VIP ticket to attend Trump’s Gala Dinner at his private club in Jupiter, Flordia, on Sunday, September 22, 2024, along with a bunch of other stuff I’m not typing out.
However, if you want to show you’re the biggest Trump fan (or if you’re into pay-to-play without all those nasty accusations), you can purchase 250 cards ($24,750) to get two “ultra VIP” dinners with Trump and tickets to have cocktails with him before the gala dinner. You also get a bunch of other stuff that I once again am not typing here (don’t worry, the shoes are included).
The profits from the Trump cards don’t go directly to the presidential hopeful and don’t contribute to his campaign fund. Instead, he licensed his name, likeness, and image to NFT INT LLC through CIC Digital LLC, presumably for a cut of revenue.
