Variety reported that Brad Pitt and George Clooney’s “Wolfs” received a four-minute standing ovation following the film’s premiere at the Venice Film Festival. Moreover, the long-time pals were seen hugging when the credits rolled. It was followed by Pitt and Clooney goofily dancing to Sade’s “Smooth Operator.” However, fans had mixed reactions after the video of the two stars was shared on the outlet’s Instagram page. A user questioned, “Only 4 mins? Those are ROOKIE numbers.” Meanwhile, another commented, “Love that they are working together again!”

According to Variety, the “Wolfs” premiere was delayed by more than 30 minutes because the venue was crowded with fans trying to get a glimpse of the Pitt and Clooney. The two were met with similar energy when they arrived at the theater. Furthermore, after the duo’s dance video made rounds, several fans took to social media to state that a four-minute standing ovation is arguably short for a film headed by megastars like Pitt and Clooney. However, the outlet noted since the film’s start time was delayed, the officials seemed “keen” on getting the audience out.

Per Us Weekly, Pitt and Clooney were joined by their respective partners in Venice as they enjoyed a double date. Amal Clooney accompanied her husband, George, while Pitt walked the red carpet with his rumored girlfriend, Ines de Ramon. The pair arrived two days after Angelina Jolie attended the festival for the “Maria” premiere.
