J.Lo Jokes She’s a ‘Bad Picker’ at Crowded TIFF Party

Jennifer Lopez is not holding back after filing for divorce from Ben Affleck. The two have been constantly hitting the headlines since their two years of marriage crumbled. This marks Lopez and Affleck’s second split. The former couple were romantically involved in the early 2000s but called off their relationship in 2004. The two actors then rekindled their romance in 2021 and tied the knot a year later. Now, amid the divorce drama, J.Lo attended the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival and seemingly made a cryptic confession.

Jennifer Lopez admits she is a ‘bad picker’ at TIFF party

Jennifer Lopez was in attendance at the 2024 TIFF for the premiere of the upcoming film “Unstoppable.” During the afterparty, she was spotted having a chat with her co-star, Bobby Cannavale. The Hollywood Reporter shared the TikTok of the two engaging in a candid conversation, where Lopez confessed that she is a “bad picker.” She said it several times in a row as Cannavale seemingly couldn’t hear her amid the buzz of partygoers. The two continued their conversation, and at one point, a relaxed Lopez began grooving to the music. They then posed to get photographed together.

However, it isn’t clear if Lopez’s statement was directed toward her ex-husband, Affleck. The “Gone Girl” actor is also seemingly moving on as he was spotted hanging out with Kick Kennedy, one of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s kids. The two have been spending time together, but their relationship isn’t known at the time of writing.

A report by People Magazine claims that Jennifer Lopez “didn’t want a divorce.” The singer reportedly  “wanted to figure things out” as she is “not the type to just give up.” However, Ben allegedly chose to “move on” and “pull away from their marriage.” The source further claimed, “It’s been almost torture for her to wait around,” but after the divorce was filed, “she seems relieved.”
