Dr. Squatch | "Guys Only Want One Thing" | Natural Body Wash

Sydney Sweeney transformed into a Body Wash Genie for a new shower gel ad. Dr. Squatch recruited the actor for a new ad campaign for their Natural Body Wash. Moreover, they added the slogan, “Guys Only Want One Thing.” The 30-second video shows Sweeney, the Body Wash Genie, pop up in front of a man whose eyes are fixated on his body wash bottle. The “Euphoria” star says, “Let’s face it, guys only want one thing,” as she flicks her hair back.

The man muses if he could have “something natural instead of this synthetic body wash.” The genie then works her magic and grants his wish as the bottle gets replaced by Dr. Squatch’s product. Sweeney says, “They’re tired of smelling thirsty.” The ad further sees the star promoting the shower gel to a group of men. Sweeney ends the video by saying, “For men who prefer natural.” Soon after the ad’s release, it quickly garnered attention on social media, boasting half a million views on YouTube as of now.

Sydney Sweeney also starred in another social media ad for the brand. The “Madame Web” star posted the clip on her Instagram, which saw her sitting in a bathtub. She says in the video, “Hello, you dirty little boys! Are you interested in my body…(pause)…wash?” She then showcases the Dr. Squatch product, saying the bodywash “isn’t for boys, it’s for men.”

After Sweeney shared the new ad, several fans praised the brand’s smart tactic. One user exaggerated the creative genius of the team/person behind the commercial by writing, “Whoever was responsible for this marketing pitch should just be promoted to CEO.” Meanwhile, another commented, “This might be the greatest marketing team I have ever seen.” The reel currently has over 17 million views.
