Beyoncé Gives Pamela Anderson’s Baywatch Look a Twist in Bodyguard Video

Halloween is well over but “Beylloween” celebrations continue as Beyoncé channeled the Pamela Anderson vibe for the video of “Bodyguard” and fans cannot get enough of it. The singer’s unexpected release came on the 2024 Election Day as she also urged people to vote in quite a glamorous way. The song was released earlier this year as part of Beyoncé’s album “Cowboy Carter.”

BEYWATCH

On November 5, Beyoncé dropped the “Bodyguard” video on YouTube and titled the release “BEYWATCH.” However, it’s unclear at the time of writing if it serves as the official music video. Nonetheless, the 43-year-old looked breathtaking as she appeared as Pamela Anderson for the new release. The video shows Beyoncé referring to the Canadian model’s two most iconic projects — the 1990s TV show “Baywatch,” and the 1996 film “Barb Wire.”

For the Barb Wire character, Beyoncé slips into a body-fitted off-the-shoulder black corset dress featuring a deep plunging neckline. She pairs the sultry ensemble with black gloves and pencil heel boots. The next look sees the Grammy winner transform into Casey Jean “C.J.” Parker from “Baywatch” as she sports the iconic red bodysuit with “Beywatch” written in front. For both outfits, Beyoncé rocks Anderson’s signature bouncy blonde hair.

Besides channeling the characters, Beyoncé can also be seen holding up a “Vote!” banner on a pistol in her “Barb Wire” attire. She added the same in the YouTube description without revealing more information about the release. Furthermore, Beyonce continues the spooky season celebrations and wishes a “Happy Beylloween” towards the end of the “Bodyguard” video.

After Beyoncé dropped the video, fans rushed to the comments section to share their amusement over the unexpected release. One wrote, “She really released a mv so we could vote.” Another penned, “Never thought we would get Cowboy Carter Visuals BEFORE Renaissance.” Meanwhile, several others gushed over the tribute and commented, “I LOVE that this is a Pamela Anderson homage.”
