Zendaya recently graced the cover of the 31st annual Vanity Fair Hollywood Issue. The magazine’s star-studded lineup also included Glen Powell, Zoe Saldaña, Nicole Kidman, Dev Patel, Sydney Sweeney, Josh O’Connor, Danielle Deadwyler, Jonathan Bailey, Lisa, Ncuti Gatwa, and Bill Skarsgård.
During the interview with Vanity Fair, Zendaya shared it is “strangely comfortable” acting opposite Tom Holland. The actor said, “It’s like second nature, if anything.” Zendaya explained that one feels “extra safe” with the person they are “acting beside.” She added that she loves working with him.
Zendaya then gushed over Tom and said he is “so talented” and “so passionate about what he does.” She continued and shared that the “Uncharted” actor “always gives things one thousand percent,” adding, “even if he’s absolutely worn down.” Zendaya also said, “I really appreciate that about him. It feels pretty normal. That’s how we met. Literally, at a chemistry read.”
Tom and Zendaya have been playing Peter Parker and MJ in the “Spider-Man” franchise since 2017. The co-stars sparked dating rumors in 2021 after getting photographed together. Despite keeping their relationship dynamics under wraps, the two do not shy away from showing their support for each other.
Recently, during an appearance on Good Morning America, Tom also teased “Spider-Man 4” and shared that “it’s happening.” The English actor revealed the sequel will begin filming next summer. He further teased, “The idea is crazy. It’s a little different to anything we’ve done before.” Tom added, “But I think the fans are going to really respond to it.”
