The world is beautiful but sometimes unforgivably tragic, a fact proven by this week’s shocking loss.
Industry veteran Ryan Davis has passed away at age 34 due to an unreleased cause, just days after marriage. You might know him for his tenure at GameSpot, or more recently as co-founder of Giant Bomb. If nothing else you might remember him for his kind and well-mannered nature as seen in industry interviews and during the weekly Giant Bombcast.
Although he passed away on July 3rd, Giant Bomb waited until today to share the heart-breaking news in a statement which included the following:
Many of you know that Ryan was recently married. In the face of this awfulness, many of us will at least always remember him as we last saw him: outrageously, uproariously happy, looking forward to his next adventure with the biggest grin his face could hold.
