This week a new year of soccer addiction begins with the head-to-head battle of Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 and FIFA 14. Both games sport improved physics and visuals. Although FIFA 14 might look a little prettier, pacing in PES 2014 is spot-on. If you’re a soccer fan good luck with your decision—or buy both!
The pickings are slim outside of the soccer world. Alien Rage is an arcade-style shooter debuting on Tuesday, the same day a new Armored Core game comes out. Who doesn’t enjoy mech combat? Also, PC and PS3 finally get the final Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 DLC package, Apocalypse. The bundle includes four multiplayer maps and a new zombie scenario.
