Thief Introduces Itself with Informative Trailer

February has a few key releases, chief among them being Thief. It’s the first addition to one of the great premier stealth action series in a long decade. It follows a lot of the same rules as previous releases, so fans know what to expect. But what about newcomers?

Square Enix has crafted a trailer for Thief it calls “Everything you need to know about Thief“. Its six minutes of gameplay and narration do a fine job of explaining who you play as, what he’s like, and how he’ll—try to—accomplish his mission; that mission being to steal from the rich. Yes, that might sound like Robin Hood but this fellow is equipped with more than just a bow and quiver full of arrows. He’s an expert tactician and assassin, the perfect protagonist for a game about sneaking around collecting valuable loot.

Thief will debut on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on February 25th.
