Update version 1.0.671.10 is now available for The Sims 4, and it supposedly resolves one of the most commonly reported issues in the game.
Since launch, users have shared a number of experiences with babies glitching. When the issue occurs, babies turn into abstract 3D art, feeding nightmares to anyone who gazes into their eyes.

This update was pushed live just a couple hours ago, and is only a few megabytes. It should auto-install, but you can force the update by right-clicking the game in your Origin library and selecting ‘Check for Update’.
There are a number of other issues in the game, particularly with its events and character pathing. Hopefully these are similarly fixed soon.
