Silent Hills’ debut trailer was unveiled at TGS 2014, and for those who played the game’s interactive teaser P.T., it’s as weird as you might expect.

Featuring the same first-person point of view that P.T. did, the Silent Hills‘ trailer begins in a narrow corridor, before viewers are treated to the image of a headless (yet still screaming) man, maggot-infested walls and a giant, phallic-shaped monster suckling on the head of some unfortunate soul.
Though it doesn’t give much away in terms of what the final game may be like (it’s labeled a “concept movie” rather than a fully-fledged trailer), it at least gives us a glimpse into what kind of horrors will be awaiting us when the game is finally released.
Silent Hills is one of our most hotly anticipated games for the current console generation, as Hideo Kojima is teaming up with director Guillermo del Toro, who is no stranger to creating grotesque monsters as evidenced by the likes of Pan’s Labyrinth, to catapult the once-famed survival-horror series back into relevancy.
