Rogue One, Furious 7, Trainwreck & SXSW 2015 on Most Craved

We’re at SXSW, and we just can’t wait until Thursday! This week’s episode of Most Craved is ready to go! William “Bibbs” Bibbiani (CraveOnline) and Silas Lesnick (ComingSoon) stand on a balmy overpass somewhere in Texas to discuss the latest, craviest movie news, and to talk about their favorite movies at the festival.

‘Star Wars: Episode VIII’ and ‘Star Wars: Rogue One’

We all knew it was coming (Star Wars: The Force Awakens for the Seventh Time is nearly done at this point), but Disney made its official announcement that they already have a released date for the eighth canonical Star Wars film. We also learned the release date – and the title – of the first official Star Wars spinoff of this new cycle. It will be called Star Wars: Rogue One. Sadly, Most Craved regular Jenna Busch was not on hand to explain exactly why that’s a cool title.

‘Furious 7’ Screens Early at SXSW 2015 – How is It?

We’ve loved the last few The Fast and the Furious movies (Fast Five being the definite highlight), but Bibbs and Silas can’t agree as to the ultimate quality of Furious 7. Do the scenes of wanton destruction and piles of awesome stunts make up for the weak story? And, honestly, how strong does the story need to be in the seventh film of a car-smashing series? These are the important questions to ask, dear friends.

Trainwreck, Life in Color, and Nina Forever

Silas claims that Trainwreck is one of the funniest, most emotional romantic comedies in years. He also recommends a micro-budget indie called Life in Color. Bibbs was more drawn to the creepy romantic horror film Nina Forever, about a vicious ex-girlfriend who appears out of Hell to judge her ex-boyfriend’s sexual habits.
