Crave’s after party experience at Electric Zoo in New York last week was a riotous great time, taking place at the legendary Pacha club in NYC. In addition to a feature performance from 3Lau, we caught up with DJ/producer Prince Fox at backstage for a fantastic conversation on what to expect from the rising young star.
Fox, gov’t name Sam Lassner, is quickly ascending the ranks in EDM culture, as he splits his time as a senior at New York University (where he studies music technology). In his free time, he’s turned out a blizzard of beloved remixes thus far, including Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me,” Florence + The Machine’s “You’ve Got The Love,” Kanye West’s “All Of the Lights” and many more.A relentless proponent of sonic evolution, Prince Fox has a knack for surprising his fans with something new with every record, every performance, and his debut original track “Wait Until Tomorrow” spliced house, future bass, trap, indie and a splash of pop influence for a unique sound design.
