A new study from Intel Security has revealed that model Kelly Brook is the most dangerous celebrity to search for on the Internet in the UK, due to her name being utilised by cyber criminals in order to distribute harmful computer viruses to users.
The report was conducted using statistics from McAfee SiteAdvisor’s site ratings, and saw Brook’s name linking to a variety of malicious software put in place by those looking to take advantage of individuals putting in search terms such as “Kelly Brook torrent” and “Kelly Brook HD downloads”.
Others featured on the list include X Factor judges Rita Ora, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Nick Griffin, along with model Katie Price and Victoria Beckham.

Nick Viney, vice president of consumer, mobile and small business for Intel Security, said: “The desire for consumers to have access to the latest celebrity gossip can often make them vulnerable to cybercrime.”
He continued: “Most consumers are unaware of the potential risks they are exposing themselves to by clicking on sites that provide them with the latest news and entertainment. But cybercriminals are quick to exploit this desire for breaking celebrity news.”
Viney also warned against downloading music illegally, though noting how that could lead to a user’s computer suffering a virus is perhaps stating the obvious.
In the US, Dutch DJ Armin van Buuren topped the list, with Luke Bryan and Usher sitting in second and third respectively. Katy Perry and Amy Schumer also featured in the top ten list.
