Assassin’s Creed Syndicate has released today and reviews are generally quite positive, which will likely lead to Ubisoft wiping their collective brow after the company’s name was dragged through the mud following the awful launch of Assassin’s Creed Unity. However, it seems that the the game still suffers from some of its predecessor’s problems, namely an unfortunate array of bugs and glitches.
The folks over at VideoGamer put together a compilation of the bugs they ran into during their time with the game (complete with a WWE-esque voiceover), and though the site has stated that these issues are less prevalent this time around, they’re still there and they’re still as ridiculous as ever. Along with enemies walking on thin air, an NPC struggling to maneuver around a table and two civilians sliding along a floor while their bodies remain completely motionless, there’s also a scene in which two characters interact with one another, only one of them is invisible.
Take a look below:
And here’s another video, featuring another cutscene with invisible characters:

While many have praised this year’s Assassin’s Creed for being an improvement over last year’s entry, it seems that the swift annual turnaround that is expected of these games is leading to them suffering in many departments, with there then not being enough time to address these problems. Even though Syndicate has received higher praise than Unity, maybe it’s still time for the series to take a break in order to ensure that the next AC game doesn’t feature a character holding a conversation with a ghost holding a book.
