The B-Movies Podcast #257 | Yours, Mine and 13 Hours

Michael Bay is back and he’s just as Michael Bay as ever! This week on The B-Movies Podcast, film critics William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold review his new jingoistic action drama 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, as well as its competition at the box office this weekend, Ride Along 2 and A Perfect Day.

Also on this week’s episode: a fond farewell to David Bowie, Alan Rickman and Dan Haggerty, a look at all the good and bad news that came out of this year’s Razzie and Oscar nominations and the debut of an all-new segment – “Shunting” – in which we review the ill-advised new TV series Shadowhunters. It’s gonna hurt!

Plus, you can make Bibbs and Witney do any dumb thing you want! All you have to do is email them at bmoviespodcast@gmail.com with your suggestion for this year’s big Oscar wager. The loser will have to do something terrible on an upcoming episode of the podcast. Bibbs and Witney will read every single submission they get on the air (no matter how crazy or stupid), and if they can agree on one of the challenges, whichever host predicts the fewest Oscar winners will have to do it in a future episode.
