Jack White and Kermit Do Carpool Karaoke, Cover Stevie Wonder on The Muppets Season Finale

Jack White came to visit The Muppets on their season finale, which airs tonight (Tuesday). In the episode, the Willy Wonka of Rock n Roll buddies up with Kermit the Frog for a carpool karaoke take on the White Stripes classic “Fell In Love With a Girl” after a comical exchange at a stoplight.

The Dead Weather/Raconteurs nucleus is no stranger to youth-focused projects, having offered up a Just For Kids series of turntables and vinyl through his Third Man Records imprint last year.

Jack also serves as a musical guest on Up Late with Miss Piggy and covers Stevie Wonder’s “You Are the Sunshine of My Life” with Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem. Kermit doesn’t let the magic opportunity pass, declaring his love to Miss Piggy. The full song is currently streaming on Apple Music, and will be released on vinyl through TMR.

Fans will remember another rock icon visit late last year by one Dave Grohl, who appeared on the show to face off against Animal in a maniacal drum throwdown. The clip finds the Foo Fighter and the wild-eyed maniac going kit to kit in the closing credits. While Animal strikes first, Grohl taps a cymbal and fires back, “Oh what’s that, a bell? Time for school.” And then it’s on.
