Square Enix has released a new trailer for the upcoming Final Fantasy XV, and oh boy. OH BOY.
There’s so much going on in this clip that it’s difficult to unpack it all, with it featuring world-ending action sequences backed by an epic orchestral score, a battle along the roof of a train, a mammoth monster that has more than a passing resemblance to a Titan from the popular anime series Attack on Titan and, to top it all off, a rendition of ‘Stand By Me’ performed by Florence & The Machine. It’s insane and we love it.

The trailer was debuted during Square Enix’s Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV event yesterday, which also featured more announcements such as a feature length CG Final Fantasy movie starring Sean Bean and Aaron Paul, along with an anime spin-off titled Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV.
Final Fantasy XV will release on PS4 and Xbox One on September 30th.
