Rob Gronkowski, the NFL’s party boy and likely the most dominant tight end in the history of the game. Love him or hate him, one thing is certain — the dude is almost as polarizing as Mr. entitled.
That polarization has been no more evident than over the past 24 hours, when social media had a firestorm over EA Sports’ selection of Gronk as their new cover boy for Madden NFL 17.
The cover looks great, with the Patriots star unloading his iconic endzone spike. But just read the comments to the right and you’ll see many fans aren’t happy with the selection.

Gronk had 72 receptions for 1,176 yards and 11 touchdowns last season coming off an injury plagued year. He’s essentially the most dominant position player who’s not a quarterback in football, so the selection makes sense. The next question is whether or not he’ll fall victim to the infamous ‘Madden jinx?’
