We’re all for a good food fight, but before you get into fisticuffs over edibles, at least make sure they’re worthy. A couple of dudes in the Welsh town of Swansea, UK, apparently didn’t get the memo because they indulged in a brawl in a Taco Bell.
Yes, “run for the border” has a whole new meaning when you’re an employee of the Tex-Mex fast-food chain and an angry customer tries to clobber you in the face. Luckily, the worker in question was able to duck before fist met flesh and then threw the man to the floor, where he went unconscious. Most shocking of all? The knocked-out man went after the wrong employee!
Naturally, this was all caught on video, which has now gone viral. (Some things never change. Like the diarrhea potential of a Taco Bell meal.)
In case you were wondering what happened to the idiots involved, we’re not entirely sure.
“The restaurant franchisee has fully cooperated with police and no further action will be taken,” a spokesperson said.
Maybe not by you, but the internet had a field day mocking the incident.
“Looks like burritos isn’t the only thing getting folded,” one commenter said.
“Daaamn got him together like a Crunchwrap Supreme,” another quipped.
“Wasn’t saved by the tacobell,” a third joked.
Next time you’re feeling spicy and want to start a fight, try Chipotle. Their guac is totally worth fighting for.
