The pilot episode for “Under The Dome,” based upon a Stephen King novel, on CBS brought 13.1 million viewers to the television Monday evening, making it the most highly-rated summer debut since 2007.
Crave’s Collider website adds that “Under the Dome” scored an impressive 3.2 rating in the important 18-49 demo, which seems to justify the 13-episode straight to series order from CBS without a pilot test.
Now we’ll see how the audience holds for the second episode.
