Cory Monteith, who recently admitted to struggling with addiction, was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room over the weekend. The Calgary native, who starred as Finn Hudson on the hit show “Glee,” missed his check-out time at the Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel and was found by staff members.
After battling addiction as a teen, he had recently come out in a 2011 interview with Parade magazine saying he still battled with drugs. Although police ruled out foul play with his death, it’s still not known what caused the 31-year-old’s demise. Many are speculating that it was a drug overdose.
Celebs took to twitter with their condolences, including Kristin Chenoweth, who guest-starred on “Glee,” and said, “You will always be loved. Always.”
Monteith’s death came just weeks after checking out of rehab.
