Christopher McQuarrie, who wrote The Usual Suspects and most recently directed Jack Reacher, is taking on another of Tom Cruise’s franchises: Mission: Impossible.
McQuarrie announced via Twitter (and Crave’s MovieWeb site) he will direct Mission: Impossible 5 for release in 2015. Cruise is not only coming back for MI5, he’s returning with Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton and Ving Rhames.
Mission: Impossible 5 opens in North America in 2015.
