Back in 2012, Juliette Lewis co-starred in NBC’s short-lived revival of “The Firm.” But in 2014, Lewis will be back on television.
According to Deadline, Lewis is the newest cast member of “Wayward Pines,” the forthcoming adaptation of Blake Crouch’s novel from executive producer, M. Night Shyamalan. Lewis is best known for her roles in Natural Born Killers, Strange Days, Cape Fear, Kalifornia, From Dusk Till Dawn and What’s Eating Gilbert Grape.
“Wayward Pines” centers on Ethan Burke (Matt Dillon), a secret service agent who comes to Wayward Pines, ID while searching for two missing agents. Lewis will play Beverly, a bartender who shares Ethan’s suspicions about Wayward Pines.
Shannyn Sossamon co-stars as Ethan’s wife, Theresa Burke, with Carla Gugino as Ethan’s former Secret Service partner, Kate Hewson; Terrence Howard as Wayward Pines Sheriff Pope; Toby Jones as Dr. Jenkins and Melissa Leo as Pam, a malevolent nurse who is not what she seems.
“Wayward Pines” is expected to debut in either summer or fall 2014.
