The Kings of Horror #17: Sleepwalkers (1992)

Every day throughout the month of October, William “Bibbs” Bibbiani from The B-Movies Podcast and Ryan Turek from Shock Till You Drop are reviewing a different theatrically-released horror movie based on the works of Stephen King. And the time has finally come for Day 16, when Bibbs and Ryan turn their confused eyes to Mick Garris’s Sleepwalkers, a film about incestuous cat vampires preying on teenaged virgins and running in terror from house cats. It’s the only feature film based on an original screenplay by Stephen King, and it’s weird as all hell.

Is Sleepwalkers so bizarre that it’s brilliant, or is there too much kinky cat sex for the film’s own good? Bibbs and Ryan try to muddle through on Kings of Horror.

Come back every single day in October as Bibbs and Ryan review another theatrically-released film based on the acclaimed Stephen King’s novels, short stories and original screenplays on Kings of Horror! Follow your hosts on Twitter at @WilliamBibbiani@_RyanTurek and @STYDNews.
