14 Moments of Thor on TV

After a brilliant five year run, “The Incredible Hulk” TV series ended, and did so without really resolving anything. Jump ahead 6 years and the Hulk returns to TV, this time in a TV Movie opposite Thor. Portrayed by actor Eric Allen Kramer, this Thor was hard to watch with feeling the most intense Douche Chills ever. While the battle between Thor and Hulk was bad, the two running across the beach was probably the most hysterical part of this craptacular movie.

Episode: The Phoenix Saga

Another blink and you’ll miss it appearance by Thor came in the early nineties animated adventures of the X-Men. Thor is seen briefly alongside The Watcher and Doctor Strange, who can all sense the growing danger within the Phoenix.

Episodes: “To Battle The Living Planet”, “When Calls Galactus”

Thor had a much broader part to play in the mid-nineties animated Marvel Universe. John-Rhys Davis, the man behind Sallah in Raiders Of The Lost Ark and Gimli in Lord Of The Rings, gave Thor his baritone voice. The first time Thor helped the FF was against Ego, the living planet. Later, Thor would return to help Reed Richards and his gang stop Galactus.

Episode: “Mortal Bounds”

Rhys-Davis continued his reign as Thor by crossing over into “The Incredible Hulk” animated series. It was a simple role, one where Thor tried befriending the strongest there is, who was unimpressed with either Thor or Mjolnir. The two slapped out at each other before joining forces to battle the Abomination

In one of the stupidest Marvel shows ever, The Superhero Squad Show gave us an unnecessary insight into the world of teen Marvel heroes. Imagine Muppet Babies, but not good. In this debacle, fans learned that Thor had a band and enjoyed blow-drying his hair.
