“Someday, you can just walk past a fez.” – Clara Oswald
“Never gonna happen!” – The Doctor
In just seven days, BBC and BBC America will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of “Doctor Who” with “The Day of The Doctor;” which will bring back David Tennant’s Tenth Doctor and Rose Tyler (Billie Piper) as the mystery of the War Doctor (John Hurt) unfolds.
During last night’s Children in Need telethon in the United Kingdom, BBC unveiled a nearly two minute clip from “Day of The Doctor” in which Matt Smith’s Eleventh Doctor and his companion, Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman) answer a summons from Kate Stewart (Jemma Redgrave) and UNIT about something unsettling in London’s National Gallery.
Along the way, we see that the Doctor’s love of strange hats has been around longer than we thought and someone familiar makes an appearance.
Earlier this week, BBC released “The Night of The Doctor” prequel minisode, featuring Paul McGann reprising his role as the Eighth Doctor.
