Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are getting the band back together for DC and Warner Bros. and will produce a film version of the comic series Sleeper, according to a report Friday on Crave’s CinemaBlend website.
The property, about a sleeper agent with a covert organization who possesses the power to absorb other people’s pain and transmit it to others without feeling it himself, was earlier rumored to be in Sam Raimi’s hands with Tom Cruise starring.
We’ll just have to see if these rumors are any more solid … though with Affleck joining the DC family in a big way, perhaps there is some meat to this after all.
