As a member of the Illuminati, Doctor Strange used his magic to make Captain America forget his involvement with the group so they could make the hard choices during the increasingly frequent Incursions events in New Avengers.
In New Avengers Annual # 1, Strange gets a solo spotlight as he teams up with a band of teckno-monks to discover that the Incursions aren’t the only world-ending threat on his plate. Even the Sorcerer Supreme needs more power to deal with the ancient evils creeping into the world. But what will it take for Strange to gain the power to fight off the darkness?
