Barbarella XXX: Exclusive NSFW Stills

We live in an era in which everything seems to have a porn parody. Even the so-called worst movie ever made, The Room, has a porn parody called The Bed Room. So how in the hell did it take this long to do an “official” porn parody of Roger Vadim’s Barbarella, one of the sexiest, campiest, and already damn near pornographic cult classics ever made?

It’s the first film from Wicked Pictures’ new Wicked Comix imprint, a line of feature-length films dedicated to comic book parodies.

And CraveOnline has scored the first-ever images from the set of Barbarella XXX, featuring Riley Steele and Asa Akira in character. (NSFW.)

“I’ve been wanting to make this movie for a really long time, and with the recent news that Amazon has green-lit a Barbarella TV series, it felt like the timing was finally perfect,” says four-time consecutive AVN award-winning Director of the Year Axel Braun.

“Riley is absolutely perfect as Barbarella, and Asa as the Great Tyrant is just terrific. I think it’s a perfect way to launch Wicked Comix, and I hadn’t done 60’s camp since Batman XXX, so I’m having a ball.”

Axel Braun isn’t the only one excited to remake the camp classic.

“When I watched Barbarella as a teenager, I had no idea that I’d one day be playing the porn version of The Great Tyrant!” says Asa Akira. “I’m so excited to be working with Axel again, now that we are both with Wicked Pictures. I can’t wait for the world to see all my elaborate costumes – his wardrobe team has really gone above and beyond. The best part though, for me, is that I get to have sex with both ABP contract girls in this movie – Riley and Aiden are both drop dead gorgeous, and I can’t wait to get my hands on them!”

CraveOnline can’t wait either, but we’ll just have to settle for these early teaser images from the set of Barbarella XXX until the film’s DVD release in January 2015.
