Following a strong fall 2014 season, Global starts the New Year with returning hits and a few newbies that are sure to make waves.
Joining the schedule is the hotly anticipated series “Battle Creek,” from “Breaking Bad” creator Vince Gilligan and the creator of “House,” David Shore. According to a press release, since the final episode of “Breaking Bad,” fans of the series have been waiting for Vince Gilligan’s next project, and his gritty new drama is promising it won’t disappoint. It stars Josh Duhamel (“Las Vegas,” “Life as We Know It”) and Dean Winters (“Oz,” “Rescue Me,” “30 Rock”), and follows two mismatched law enforcement officers whose completely opposite views of crime-solving breed frustration, disdain, humor and possibly a grudging respect, as they clean up the hardscrabble streets of Battle Creek, Michigan.
After an action-packed fall finale that saw Reddington overcome one threat only to face another even greater challenge, the pulse-stopping thriller “The Blacklist” returns with a special two-part episode on February 1st (it moves to Thursday nights at 9pm beginning February 5th). If you’re behind on this engrossing series, catch up on the current season on Global Go and the last season on shomi before the series returns.
Also returning to the schedule is: “NCIS: New Orleans” (January 6th); “The Celebrity Apprentice” (January 8th); “Stalker” (January 14th); “The Night Shift” (February 23rd).
