Casual fans of Marvel Studios’ films may not fully comprehend who Stan Lee is. In addition to playing bit roles in nearly every Marvel movie to date, Lee is one of the architects of the Marvel Universe and the co-creator of the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, Spider-Man, the Hulk, Daredevil and dozens of other superheroes.
Lee is also an incredible ham any time that he gets in front of a camera.
That’s just who he is. But Stan the Man has been charming comic book fans for decades. Long after his tenure in Marvel’s editorial office ended, Lee has been Marvel’s most loved brand ambassador.
Audi of America fully capitalizes on Lee’s unique brand of showmanship in a new extended ad that was released earlier today in conjunction with the rollout of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Kevin Smith directed the ad and he appears in it alongside Michael Rooker, Jason Mewes, Tara Reid and even Lou Ferrigno as Lee teaches them the fine art of cameo acting.
Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters this Friday, May 1.
