Syfy may be a little late with this year’s Comic-Con announcements, but the network is coming back to San Diego in force.
Love it or hate it, Syfy’s Sharknado TV movie franchise is currently the most popular thing on the network. That’s why Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! is getting a spotlight panel on Friday, July 10 at 7:15pm in Room 6A. Returning stars Ian Ziering and Tara Reid will be joined by David Hasselhoff and Cassie Scerbo, their new co-stars in Sharknado 3. Director Anthony C. Ferrante and screenwriter Thunder Levin will round out the Sharknado panel.
Syfy’s Dominion is getting a rare Thursday night panel on July 9 at 8:15pm in Room 6DE. No cast members have been announced for this panel, but Dominion executive producer Vaun Wilmott will be introducing an advance screening of the second episode of Dominion Season 2.
On Saturday, July 11, Syfy essentially assimilates the Indigo Ballroom at the Hilton Bayfront Hotel for a multi-panel lineup. First up is Childhood’s End at 11am, which will feature a first look at the upcoming miniseries adaptation of the classic Arthur C. Clarke novel. Cast members Mike Vogel, Julian McMahon, Daisy Betts, and Yael Stone will be joined by screenwriter Matthew Graham.

Then 12 Monkeys takes over the Indigo Ballroom at Noon with cast members Aaron Stanford, Amanda Schull, Kirk Acevedo, Barbara Sukowa, Emily Hampshire and Todd Stashwick will preview the new season of Syfy’s acclaimed series.
Another network will be filling in the 2pm and 3pm Saturday slots at the Indigo Ballroom. But Syfy will take the stage again at 4pm with a preview screening of The Expanse alongside cast members Thomas Jane, Steven Strait, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Cas Anvar, Dominique Tipper and Wes Chatham, in addition to executive producers Mark Fergus, Hawk Ostby and Naren Shankar.
Finally, Z Nation will close out Syfy’s Indigo Ballroom presence at 5:30pm on Saturday, as cast members DJ Qualls, Kellita Smith, Keith Allan, Russell Hodgkinson, Nat Zang and Anastasia Baranova will preview the upcoming second season.
