The “Stars of Cosplay” Contest (the “Contest”) is intended for participation only in the United States and shall be construed according to, and governed exclusively by, United States law. Do not participate in the Contest if you are not a legal resident of the United States physically located in the United States at the time of entry or do not fall within the eligibility requirements set forth in the Official Rules below.

OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE OR DONATION NECESSARY. A PURCHASE, DONATION OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
PROMOTION DESCRIPTION: The Contest entry period begins on or about July 9, 2015 at 10:00 AM Pacific Standard Time (“PST”) and ends on or about July 10, 2015 at 3:00 PM PST (the “Entry Period”). The final round of the Contest will begin on or about July 10, 2015 at 8:00 PM PST (the “Final Contest”). By participating in the Contest, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of CraveOnline Media, LLC (“Sponsor”), 5140 Goldleaf Circle, 3rd Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90056, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right to modify or terminate Contest if conditions arise that compromise its integrity or intended play.
ELIGIBILITY: Only legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older and located at Comic-Con in San Diego, California at the time of entry are eligible to enter the Contest. Employees of Sponsor and Sponsor’s advertiser partners and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, retailers, sales representatives, advertising and promotion agencies and each of their respective officers, directors and employees (and immediate family members and those persons living in the same household of any such officers, directors and employees) (collectively, the “Promotion Entities”), are ineligible to enter the Contest or win the prize. Subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
HOW TO ENTER: To enter, visit the Alienware Activation Zone at Comic-Con during the Entry Period and enter to participate in a preliminary cosplay fashion show on July 9, 2015 at 1:00 PM PST, 3:00 PM PST, or 5:00 PM PST, or on July 10, 2015 at 11:00 AM PST or 1:00 PM PST (each, a “Preliminary Round”). Limit one (1) entry per person. Alienware and audience cheer will select a total of twenty-five (25) winners from the Preliminary Rounds (each, a “Preliminary Winner”). These twenty-five (25) Preliminary Winners will be eligible to participate in the Final Contest at the U.S.S. Midway for the Crave Escape 2015 party (the “Event”).
PRELIMINARY ROUND PRIZES: Twenty-five (25) Preliminary Round Prizes are available. Each of the twenty-five (25) Preliminary Winners will receive two (2) Priority Access Passes to the Event and a one hundred dollar ($100) Alienware gift card. The approximate retail value of the Preliminary Round Prize is $100. Prizes are non-assignable and non-transferable. No cash alternative or prize substitutions will be allowed except that Sponsor retains the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value (or at Sponsor’s election, the cash value of the applicable prize) in the event a stated prize is unavailable, in whole or in part, for any reason. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period.
GRAND PRIZE WINNER SELECTION: During the Final Contest, a panel of judges will select three (3) finalists from the Preliminary Winners who participate in the Final Contest (each a “Finalist”). The Finalists will participate in a final runway walk and audience cheer will decide one winner (the “Grand Prize Winner”).
GRAND PRIZE: One (1) Grand Prize is available. The Grand Prize Winner will receive the Grand Prize consisting of an Alienware Alpha and a five hundred dollar ($500) Alienware giftcard. The approximate retail value of the Grand Prize is $1,500. Prizes are non-assignable and non-transferable. No cash alternative or prize substitutions will be allowed except that Sponsor retains the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value (or at Sponsor’s election, the cash value of the applicable prize) in the event a stated prize is unavailable, in whole or in part, for any reason. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.
GENERAL PRIZE CONDITIONS: The winners shall be solely responsible for all federal, state and/or local taxes, and for any other fees or costs associated with the prizes awarded. Winners may be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, (where legal) a Waiver and Release Form and any applicable forms required by a taxing authority (collectively, “Prize Claim Documents”). If a potential winner is not of legal age of majority in his or her state of residence (a “minor”), at Sponsor’s option, the applicable prize either will be awarded in the name of parent or legal guardian of potential winner, or parent or legal guardian of potential winner will be required to ratify and sign Prize Claim Documents. If a potential winner (or, in the case of a minor, such minor potential winner’s parent or legal guardian) fails or refuses to sign and return all Prize Claim Documents on the day of prize notification, such potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected.
GENERAL RELEASE: Except where prohibited, participation in the Contest constitutes a winner’s permission for each of the Promotion Entities to use winner’s name, photograph, likeness, voice, biographical information, statements and address (city and state) for advertising and/or publicity purposes related to the Contest only worldwide and in all forms of media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity, without further compensation. Each entrant agrees that the Promotion Entities are not responsible for: (a) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest; (b) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to, malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (c) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Contest; (d) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries; or (e) any losses, damages or injuries of any kind resulting from participation in the Contest or in any Contest related activity, or from entrants’ acceptance, receipt, possession and/or use or misuse of any prize. Each entrant acknowledges and agrees that no Promotion Entity has made any warranty, representation or guarantee express or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to any prize, including, without limitation, to such prize’s quality or fitness for a particular purpose. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant which cannot be resolved to Sponsor’s satisfaction, the entry will be deemed ineligible. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who is found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest, to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, or to be acting in an unsportsman-like or disruptive manner, or with the intent to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest, or to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, and Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. No mechanically reproduced, illegible, incomplete, forged, software-generated or other automated multiple entries will be accepted.
DISPUTES: By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Contest or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Contest, but in no event will attorneys’ fees be awarded or recoverable; and (c) under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain any award for, and entrant hereby knowingly and expressly waives all rights to seek, punitive, incidental or consequential damages and/or any other damages, other than actual out-of-pocket expenses, and/or any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.
VENUE/JURISDICTION: EACH ENTRANT HEREBY IRREVOCABLY CONSENTS AND SUBMITS TO THE EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION OF THE STATE AND FEDERAL COURTS, AS APPLICABLE, LOCATED WITHIN THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, IN CONNECTION WITH ANY PROCEEDING ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS CONTEST AND WAIVES ANY OBJECTION TO VENUE IN SUCH COURTS.
ENTRANTS’ PERSONAL INFORMATION: Information from entrants in this Contest is collected by Sponsor and subject to Sponsor’s privacy policy, located at www.craveonline.com/privacy.
WINNERS LIST: For the list of prize winners or a copy of the Official Rules, mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope to CraveOnline Media, LLC; Attention: Sales Department; 5140 Goldleaf Circle, Third Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90291 (VT residents may omit return postage) such that it is received by no later than January 10, 2016.
