Believe it or not, Kate Beckinsale apparently wasn’t invited to the Oscar ceremony, only the after party. Then again, perhaps the actress preferred to miss the ceremony and instead head to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party to get drunk. Hey, we can’t fault her for that. But we do blame ourselves for just now seeing the incredible dress that Beckinsale wore Sunday night.
The 44-year-old showed up to the Radhika Jokes hosted party at Wallis Annenberg Center in Beverly Hills sporting quite the dress. And the reason we have to talk about this dress is because everyone’s attention immediately went to one location.

I think the bigger crime here is that we almost didn’t notice these photos at all — that would have been a tragedy. But good thing we noticed them eventually. And speaking of crimes, why hasn’t Beckinsale been in a good movie in what seems like forever? Her last good film may have been the first Underworld more than ten years ago, and even that wasn’t great.
Well, at least she makes up for it with these photos.
