Viewers are curious to know if Kwon dies in Cobra Kai Season 6 after an intense scuffle with Axel. The season finale of Part 2 titled “Eunjangdo” witnesses Daniel and Johnny picking Barcelona for their captain’s training grounds. However, a cheap trick in the tournament’s semi-final leads to several battles and also a massive tragedy for Kwon’s character. What happens to Kwon in Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 2?

Yes, Kwon is dead. Nobody kills Kwon rather his violent fight with Axel leads to him accidentally falling over a knife.

Initially, Kwon manages to bring Diego Aguilar, Zara, and Maria Alvarez to their knees, further entering the finale. However, the final moments of Cobra Kai Season 6 end up tragic for Kwon. Kreese, who wields his eunjangdo knife brings it to the karate tournament to settle scores with Terry Silver. However, amidst the brawl, he loses his weapon eventually.

On the other hand, Kwon and Sam tussle to claim victory, seeing which Axel becomes furious. Axel comes forward to fight Kwon. Interestingly, Kwon gets his hand over Kreese’s antique knife, seeing it as an opportunity to threaten Axel with it. Unbeknownst to him, the knife turns out to be a threat to him instead, when he accidentally gets killed by it.

He takes the knife mid-air and attempts a kick. However, as he lands on the ground, the knife gets into his chest instead, covering him in blood. Soon, students and senseis learn that Kwon has departed the world due to his unfortunate trick against Axel.

In a recent interview with Collider, showrunners Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Josh Heald recently addressed Kwon’s death and discussed Cobra Kai Part 3 as well.

Schlossberg said, “I will say, you know we’re going to be covering the span of time that our students on the show graduate high school. So, you know, we’re going to leave the series with you knowing where their childhoods ended up and as they go off into adulthood. So, I can’t say exactly what happens in episode 611, and whether we’re still on the mat with Kwon’s blood or if we’re years later in Nantucket at Miguel’s Crab Shack, but you’ll find out the fate of our characters.”

The third part of Season 6 will come out in February 2025.
