Spotify Reveals Taylor Swift Is the Most Streamed Artist on Wrapped 2024

Singer Taylor Swift has come out on top of the Spotify Wrapped lists for a majority of users and emerged as the most-streamed artist in 2024. Following the release of her album TTPD aka The Tortured Poets Department, Swift has achieved numerous feats on Spotify. However, this year when users shared their Spotify Wrapped on social media platforms, the singer was a part of an overwhelming number of lists. Here is what Spotify said in their statement after Swift ranked as the most-streamed artist of this year.

Taylor Swift becomes most streamed and top global artist on Spotify Wrapped 2024

Spotify recently revealed that Taylor Swift was the most-streamed artist of 2024 on Spotify Wrapped. Announcing this news on its website, Spotify disclosed that Swift’s songs had the most streams on the app this year. Additionally, she was followed by The Weekend, Bad Bunny, Drake, Billie Eilish, Travis Scott, Peso Pluma, Kanye West, Ariana Grande, and Feid.

Apart from achieving the feat of being the most-streamed artist on Spotify Wrapped in 2024, Taylor Swift also became the top global artist. Announcing the number of streams she garnered this year, Spotify said in its statement, “With more than 26.6 billion streams globally, Taylor Swift is Spotify’s 2024 Global Top Artist.”

To commemorate the singer’s achievement, Spotify added a special badge to her profile that read “2024 Global Top Artist.” They further added, “To celebrate Taylor’s monumental achievement, fans will see a first-ever special badge on her Spotify artist profile. Swifties from around the globe can be on the lookout for a special surprise to celebrate their fandom soon!”

Swift also shared a special message for top listeners this year that was uploaded on X (formerly Twitter) by Pop Base. In the message, Swift said, “I just wanted to say thank you so much for being one of my top listeners on Spotify. That’s so nice of you. Thank you for streaming the music. It’s just been such a wild ride and I really appreciate everything you guys have done, including listening to my music so much. So cool.”
