Belgian design brand Sempre has mastered the art of holistic living with its lookbook of products and pieces for the home that fuse natural source material and elements with some sturdy handcrafted goods. With slogans like “Home together” and “Cure life,” the brand works around the globe with local artisans.
The concept has added nuance and richness to each piece of furniture, be it long wood dining tables hand carved and mounted in Asia or scintillating cutlery and glassware fashioned and formed in western Europe. The resulting pieces are earthy, functional and ultimately homey.

Home seems to be the most appropriate buzzword orbiting Sempre’s world of plants and furnishings. The brand swears that anything can be designed and tailored to fit the individual needs of your home.

Take for instance the coffee table/Footstool rendered from tree trunks. Highly aesthetic in their rustic appearance, the pieces add an accessible depth to what would otherwise be mundane salon accessories. Functionality. Functionality. Functionality.
This season’s catalogue includes dining tables and glassware.
It doesn’t hurt that the installation at M&O resembles a rainforest. There’s no carpeting here. Black sand fills the vast expanse of exhibit space. And pebbles are sprinkled under the dining tables. Above, long green plants hang from the ceiling like we walk in the underbrush of some overwhelming jungle. An impressive glass shelving area houses everything from glass vases and glassware to exotic plants reaching out to greet you with their creeping vines.
Sempre means “always” or “forever.” But the brand has taken on a deeper meaning with its eco-conscious, fair trade practices and holistic health mantra.
