The Oscars may be called Hollywood’s biggest night, but it could also vie for Hollywood’s most stylish night. As luxury cars flood Hollywood and Highland to delivered celebrities to the highly anticipated annual event, the rest of us watched from the comfort of our homes, in cotton sweats and weekend denim. But just because we enjoyed the Oscars in our relaxing, not-so-luxe clothes, doesn’t mean that next weekend won’t be a totally different situation.

Inspired by the impressive head-to-toe menswear looks on the red carpet, we decided to find some of our favorite new suiting staples. And just because you’re not going out to a gala, doesn’t mean you can’t be just as well dressed headed out on a weekend (or week night.)

Rag & Bone recently released their Razor Suit line. The collection, all available as separates, is made of handcrafted pieces like the suit jacket and pant, created in a classic British cut, but modernized. Meanwhile J.Crew presents core formal pieces that pair excellently together, but you will likely be tempted to wear them with a favorite pair of denim – and that’s OK.

Whether you rock some dressy attire to a ticketed event or just a well-dressed happy hour, take advantage of these impressive pieces to build and enhance your wardrobe.
