Switcheroo
Now, if your test consists of an essay or something similar, chances are your professor will allow a piece of scrap paper for jotting down some thesis or brainstorming. At home, prepare two identical pieces of paper; one will be completely blank, and the other will be filled with info you need. When you get to class, pull out the blank paper and wait for the professor’s initial check. Keep the cheat sheet close-by (in your sleeve or under your chair) to be able to make a switcheroo as soon as the professor leaves. The great thing about it is that, even if he/she catches you, later on, you can just pretend that you’ve written all of that right now, during the exam. To add credibility to it, make sure you write it down in a disordered manner, just as you would during the actual exam.
Doesn’t Add Up
The calculator is also a great device for concealing your cheat sheet. Of course, you can’t bring a calculator to an English exam (unless your school is super weird) or a biology class, but for, say, maths, it works perfectly. What you want to do is get the most sophisticated calculator you can find beforehand. The reason for this is that most of the expert calculators have a number of additional functions that can help you with your task. For example, it could store a number of formulas for your later use, so do some browsing. Alternatively, you could just insert some cheat sheets physically into the calculator. For example, the section where the battery is stored is great for just that. You could even write stuff directly on the battery (if they are AA, for example) and rotate them when the professor passes by.
Cheating Buddy
Lastly, you could get a friend to help you out. Give him the book, let him go through it a bit to acquaint himself with the chapters beforehand and keep him on the speed dial. Now, if it’s a multiple choice test, you could simply do it by setting your phone to vibrate before the class. Send the question to your friend and let him buzz you the right amount of times. If it’s a different type of test or your professor doesn’t allow phones, you could get an earpiece. They are discrete and great for cheating, but also rather expensive, so just ask yourself how much this test is worth to you.
We’ve written this article with the hopes that, once you see how much work cheating actually requires, you’ll give up and go study. If not, well, this guide on how to cheat on a test is the best chance you’ve got.
