People are quite strange beings. Eye Contact
The first thing you could notice about your potential love interest is how her eyes behave when you communicate. If she maintains a strong eye contact during a conversation, it might mean that she is quite interested in the topic or that she’s interested in you. Keep in mind, though, that some girls are just attentive listeners and it doesn’t necessarily mean that she likes you. However, if her pupils dilate and she moves her eyes to your lips from time to time, that’s pretty much a sure sign that she’s into you and wants to kiss you.
Sporadic Touches
Another good way to determine whether a girl likes you or not is to keep an eye out on occasional touches, nudges, and brushes. Usually, a girl will try to make physical contact with a person she likes either subconsciously or on purpose. For example, you could be having an enjoyable conversation about a topic you both find interesting and she would simply touch your hand, put her arm on your biceps or knees, or just brush her leg off yours. Because of that, you should really focus on signs of nervousness when the girl is in your presence. If she likes you a lot, she could be scared of looking you right in the eye. Observe if she acts the same with other people and you’ll see if it’s general shyness or just that she fancies you. Also, another good indicator is playing with her hair. This is something of an obvious clue that she actually likes you, but is too shy to say anything.
Compliments
You would think that compliments are a fairly certain indicator that someone likes you, right? Well, no. It all depends on the context, why someone gives them, when and how. For instance, if a girl compliments a great job you did, it might be that she’s just genuinely impressed by your abilities and results. On the other hand, if the compliments are a bit more personal (beautiful eyes, great shape, etc.) she might actually have some feelings for you. Besides that, if she compliments you when you two are alone, chances are she’s not just being nice, so think whether you should act upon it or not.
Clothes
You can also find out a lot about a person by the way she dresses, especially around you. If she happens to show off her body near you, wearing tight or revealing clothing, it might indicate that she’s trying to seduce you. However, some girls tend to wear flirty clothes on a regular basis, so you will have to check first how she dresses around other people. You could also think about the colors. The color red is a sign of passion, so she might wear it around you to show off her sensuality. Besides that, she might also wear some piece of clothing that emphasizes the color of her eyes and makes her more attractive.
Honesty
There is also one quite overlooked method that can yield great results. How do you know if a girl likes you? Well, simply ask her. People often forget that honesty is the best policy and, though it might not always work, it’s worth a shot. Also, a girl who likes you is more likely to be quite open with you and share some quite personal information. Be careful, though, as it might be a road to a friend zone, and no one likes that, right?
