Actress Mila Kunis surprised Chicago Cubs fans on Saturday at Wrigleyville bars with a limited expression of Jim Beam that barrel-matured on the night of the Cubs’ 2016 World Series win against the Cleveland Indians. Kunis, a global partner of the best-selling bourbon brand, treated baseball fans to a taste of the new Game 7 Batch which will be available for purchase (as long as supplies last) in the Chicago area beginning June 1.

Aged for four years and matured on the night of the Cubs’ ecstatic triumph at Game 7 of the 2016 World Series, the bourbon boasts an oak vanilla aroma and a sweet finish, not unlike the team’s 2016 season. Even the packaging of the Game 7 Batch commemorates the Cubs’ proud heritage with a blue cap, batch sticker, and specialty label. The 750mL bottle’s suggested retail price is $17.99.

“We’re proud to call the Chicago Cubs part of our growing family, so in celebration of the Cubs’ history-making victory, we wanted to release a history-making bourbon for the occasion,” said Fred Noe, Jim Beam’s 7th generation master distiller, in a press release. “This exclusive Jim Beam Game 7 Batch is our gift to the fans in Chicago from our home in Kentucky.”

“We love to see passion between our team and our Legacy Partners, and Jim Beam’s Game 7 Batch is a perfect example of two historic brands coming together in the spirit of celebration,” added Cane Kenney, president of baseball operations for the Cubs.

On Saturday, the jersey-clad Kunis threw the first pitch at the Cubs versus the Pittsburgh Pirates game on Wrigley Field, kicking off Jim Beam’s first season as the official bourbon of the Chicago Cubs. She then made appearances at three neighborhood bars and raised toasts with the crowds to another (hopefully historic) season of baseball.
