Converse Says ‘Yes To All’ For LGBTQ Pride Month

Converse is developing a good habit we can all get behind. As you may remember, last year the brand released a collection of sneakers in support of LGBTQ Pride month, and this year they’re going for it again.

The month of June is LGBTQ Pride Month, selected as such to commemorate the Stonewall riots that took place at the end of June in 1969. This year Converse commemorates the occasion with a new round of shoes to add to the collection.

The Converse Pride Collection is made up of our favorite Cons silhouette, the All Star and All Star ’70. The variations include rainbow-covered high tops, and lows with a colorful star pattern covering every inch. The slightly more subtle versions come with white or black bases, with far out patches tacked on all over.

If you like the idea, but are not in love with the styles, you can actually customize your own pair. Best of all, net proceeds of direct sales of the Pride Collection will go to It Gets Better and the Happy Hippy Foundation.
