Couple Encounters Tornado While Driving In Crazy Viral Video

I’ve never encountered a tornado as the closest I’ve ever gotten to one is watching Twister and watching Helen Hunt obsess over it. But unfortunately, Savannah and Brandon Boerjan had quite the encounter with a tornado while driving Arkansas late last week.

The video below, with Savannah shared on her Facebook, shows the couple trying to speed pass the tornado, only to completely fail. Let’s first check out the video below. But heads up: there’s some salty language, and Savannah’s voice isn’t easy to deal with. But we can forgive her because of the situation she found herself in.

Holy hell, that was pretty scary to watch. And yet, even while they were close to getting demolished by Mother Nature, Brandon still told his lady to ‘calm down.’ Typical man, am I right ladies?

Here’s what Savannah had to say after sharing the now-viral video:

“Excuse the cursing but me and Brandon Boerjan are literally grateful to be alive. We were driving home from buying our brand new camper and the tornado dropped right on top of us and slung us all across the interstate into a ditch.”

Savannah also explained just why in the hell she was filming what she thought was going to be her last day on this planet:

“I honestly got my phone out because the clouds were moving around and I honestly thought it was pretty. Little did I know how fast this would turn from pretty to scary! We thought we were in the clear. Then we passed the hill and saw it. There it was. There was no stopping, no reversing, no going back. We had a 31+ foot camper attached and the tornado pulled us up from behind. I now know the dangers of a tornado. Never would we have thought this would happen to us.”

This a pretty crazy situation, and we’re happy that Savannah and Brandon were able to get out of it alive. And now I’m going to assume Savannah is going to become an obsessed storm chaser because Hollywood told me so:
